HOW TO SELECT A HOST AGENCY THAT MEETS ALL YOUR NEEDS

CONDUCT your research carefully and choose a Host in which you feel comfortable.

BE ABSOLUTELY SURE the Host offers full support for all your travel business needs and has an emergency support line.

VERIFY the Host is properly licensed in the States it does business in and they also carry at least $1,000,000 in E&O insurance.

INVESTIGATE that the Host does not issue its own photo Id cards promoting travel agent discounts. These agencies are commonly known as "card mills" and have no standing in the travel agent community.

INVESTIGATE that the Host does not use a Referral Agent program that rewards you for bringing in additional agents and generally requires you to make all your reservations through a call center. These agencies are not Host Agencies but rather are known as Multi-Level-Marketing companies.

CONFIRM the Host is not using excessive hype and pressure. These companies are generally operating at a loss and are using desperate tactics to lure you in.
